BIO:

Torie Denning is a modern storyteller who adores color experiments and playing with paint. She was raised in Layton Utah and studied art at Utah State University and Brigham Young University where she graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, emphasis in drawing and painting.  Denning’s work has been chosen to show in art exhibitions, art fairs, and galleries throughout Utah. She has written and illustrated a children’s book, Ardis, which was published in 2022. Denning is influenced by early 20th century impressionist and fauvist painters: Maurice de Vlaminck, Vincent Van Gogh, and Gustav Klimt. When she’s not painting she’s keeping alive two very active boys and snuggling a little girl on her lap. She enjoys triathlon training, hanging out with her two spaniels, and dreams of living off a diet of bread, cheese, and jello salads.
